The Uniden Bearcat BC-120XLT is a 100-channel scanner that covers the following frequencies: 29.0-54.0 MHz; 108-174 MHz; and 406-512 MHz.

I used this radio mostly for monitoring my local police and fire departments, as well as the local NOAA weather channel and the traffic at O'Hare International Airport.  It did a great job!   I'd also use it to pick up my baby monitor if I was working around the house and I wanted to keep tabs on my kids.  

I bought this scanner in 1996 as a refurbished unit sold through the Damark closeout catalog.  I sold it in March of 2002.
