Here’s another snap from the archives: this time it’s a screenshot of The Weather Channel on January 1, 1986. Yeah, we had some snow here in Chicago that day.

We had a white Christmas last week, thanks to the snow that came through on the 24th. It’s supposed to warm up over the next few days, so it doesn’t look like we’ll have a foot of snow like we did in ’86.

This is another favorite time of year– visiting with family and friends, catching up on stuff around the house, and quiet evenings at home. It’s a great opportunity to recharge before the new year starts.
